On November 5, 2014 SNAP launched its most recent initiative, a Coffee & Conversation program in collaboration with Woodcliff United Church & Korean Central Presbyterian Church. The purpose of this initiative is to provide members of the Korean community with an opportunity to practice English conversation in a casual and supportive environment. With the advertising of the new program in the local Korean newsletter, registration has increased. This collaboration came out of discussions ISC had with members of the Korean Central Presbyterian Church and the need for programs that would help with the settlement and integration of this growing community. In addition to improving their English communication skills, the goal is to help community members increase their support networks and learn about community resources.
