The Economist magazine released its annual Global Livability Ranking, naming Calgary as one of the best places to live in the world in 2015. The ranking considers a variety of factors related to healthcare, environment, educational resources, infrastructure, and safety to determine the rankings. According to the report, three Canadian cities were ranked in the top 5 – Vancouver, rated at No.3, Toronto at No.4, and Calgary tied with Adelaide, Australia at No.5.
