2. Carifest

Saturday @ Shaw Millennium Park, Calgary

“Carifest is an annual festival held in Calgary, Alberta, Canada that showcases the arts and culture of the Caribbean. The Caribbean Community Council of Calgary (CCC) organizes Carifest as part of its mandate. 3. GlobalFest

Saturday @ Elliston Park, Calgary – Tickets are required.

GlobalFest is an annual cultural celebration in Calgary that held in every August since 2003. The festival consists of International Fireworks Festival, Oneworld Festival, Human Rights Forum, Youth Forum and Night Market. Thousands of people come to Elliston Park in Southeast Calgary to visit cultural pavilions, enjoy ethnic food, entertainments and the most important part – fireworks.
