Each of the three resumé types—chronological, functional and combination—presents your skills and experience in a specific way. The type of resumé that is best for you depends on your experience, the position you’re applying for and the industry you work in:
- The chronological resumé (PDF) focuses on your employment background, education and training.
- The functional resumé (PDF) highlights your skills and accomplishments instead of your employment background.
- The combination resumé (PDF) combines elements of the chronological and functional types.
