On March 24, 2016, Immigrant Services Calgary organized a zoo trip for the Syrian refugee families. 8 Syrian refugee families, including 19 kids, took the trip. We managed to get the free annual memberships to Calgary Zoo for all families. They enjoyed a light lunch provided by Immigrant Services Calgary, and we had a chance to chat with the families and get to know them closer. The families and especially the kids had a good time.
