Albertans who filed their 2015 income tax return and their income meet the income requirements will receive the carbon levy rebate at the beginning of 2017. If you are a single and your net income is below $51,250, or if you are a family with two children and your family net income is below $101,500, you will receive your carbon levy rebate. The full carbon levy rebate in 2017 will be $200 for singles, $300 for couples and $360 for a couple with two children.
If you have not filed your 2015 income tax, please file your 2015 income tax as soon as possible to ensure that you will receive your rebate on time.
