Alberta minimum wage increase to $12.20 on Oct. 1, 2016

On Saturday, Oct. 1, 2016, Alberta’s general minimum wage will be increased from $11.20/hour to $12.20/hour. The increase in minimum wage is part of the Government of Alberta’s goal to raise the minimum wage to $15.00/hour by 2018.
