June is National Aboriginal History Month. This stared in 2009 with the passing of a unanimous motion in the House of Commons. It is a time to appreciate the histories, diversity and contributions of Indigenous peoples to Canada. June 21st marks National Aboriginal Day in Canada. This day celebrate native cultures and outstanding achievements of First Nations, Inuit and Métis.
