To sponsor your parents and grandparents in 2019, you need to submit the Interest to Sponsor Form which will be available on Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada(IRCC)’s website at noon EST on January 28, 2019. After completing it, invitations for potential sponsors will be sent out in the order the interest to sponsor documents are received. As soon as IRCC get enough submission, the form will no longer be available.
For 2019, 20,000 applications will be accepted after invitations are sent out and these applications must be completed within 60 days from receiving the invitation.
