COVID-19 has been impacting all of us Canadian in our everyday lives for the past two months. It’s more important than ever that we get the tools and resources to support our health and well-being.

Last Sunday, May 3, right before the beginning of the Mental Health Week 2020, the Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau announced an investment of $240.5 million to develop and launch virtual care and mental health tools for Canadians.

The investment will be used to:

  • Develop digital platforms and apps to improve access to virtual mental health supports
  • Increase virtual health care delivery (through phone, text, or video-conferencing)
  • Launch other projects to reach and support vulnerable populations in Canada

These additional supports will help Canadians get health resources wherever and whenever we need them.

Check out tips on how to care for your own mental health during COVID-19, and how to support your children through this special time.
