The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) has just announced a travel restrictions exemption to help keep families together and support unity during these challenging times.
Starting June 8, 2020, 23:59 EDT (Eastern Daylight Time), foreign nationals who meet all the conditions below are now allowed to enter Canada:
- Must be immediate family members of Canadian citizens or Permanent Residents;
- Entering to be with an immediate family member for at least 15 days;
- Must NOT have COVID-19 or show any signs or symptoms of COVID-19;
- Must quarantine for 14 days after entering Canada.
Foreign nationals who have COVID-19 to show signs/symptoms of COVID-19 are still not allowed to enter Canada.
