Safety and health are always the top priority during a pandemic. The Calgary International Airport has been very focused on keeping the airport a safe and healthy environment for all travelers and airport staff.
To this purpose, starting June 17, the Calgary International Airport will require all people to wear face masks or face coverings in any public area of the terminals.
The airport is also taking other measures to keep staff and travelers safe:
- Physical distancing signage serving as reminders
- Additional cleaning for high-touch areas
- More hand sanitizer stations in high traffic areas
There are some exceptions for wearing face masks or coverings. More information: https://www.yyc.com/en-us/travellerinfo/covid-19.aspx
