What is LGBTQ2?

Why do I need to learn about LGBTQ2?

  • The Government of Canada is committed to promoting LGBTQ2 equality, protecting LGBTQ2 rights, and addressing discrimination against LGBTQ2 communities. This is key to strengthening diversity and inclusion. More information: https://www.canada.ca/en/canadian-heritage/campaigns/free-to-be-me.html
  • As a newcomer to Canada and possibly a future Canadian citizen, you may find it helpful to learn more about LGBTQ2

Word of the Day:

  • Mitigate: make something less severe or serious

  • To “mitigate” harms means to reduce or lessen harms.
