Calgary communities, parks and natural areas are connected by an extensive network of pathways available for all.

What are pathways for?
  • For walking, running, in-line skating or cycling;
  • Motor vehicles are not allowed on pathways except for powered wheelchairs;
The City of Calgary has recently completed the 1,000th kilometre of paved pathway — the most extensive urban pathway and bikeway network in North America!

Use the free Pathways and Bikeways App to check out the map for this amazing network of pathways. Download it today from App Store or Play Store, or check out the map online at https://maps.calgary.ca/PathwaysandBikeways/

All Calgary’s pathways are visually inspected each year and prioritized for lifecycle repairs and safety improvements.
