Calgary’s City Hall is the heart of our city. It’s the place where decisions about Calgary happen.
The City is working with University of Calgary School of Architecture, Planning, and Landscapes (SAPL) and other community partners to improve the nine block area around City Hall. This program is called 9 Block Program.
The City needs your input! Take a 10-minute online survey here: https://9block.questionpro.ca/
The survey will ask you to rate your personal feeling of safety, vibrancy, lighting, cleanliness, etc. of the 9 Block area. At the end of the survey, you will be asked to answer a few demographic questions.
What are the 9 Blocks?
The boundaries of the 9 Block program are 1 Street SE, 6 Avenue SE, 4 Street SE, and 9 Avenue SE.
What are the goals of this 9 Block Program?
- Make the area more vibrant at all times of the day
- Improve safety and reduce social disorder in the area
- Make life better for citizens, customers, residents, and business
