Michelle Mak Community, Employment, Newcomer Information

Know any immigrant women who are interested in increasing their confidence with finding work?

Making changes has a free part-time program that helps immigrant women who are looking for work to gain confidence, plan their career, network, learn about Canadian Workplace Culture, how to market themselves in resumes and interviews, and how to find a job in Calgary.

Their workshop sessions will be offered through Zoom on Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 9:30 am – 12:00 noon from October 6 – November 26. There will be additional activities to complete outside of class time.

All attendees will need the following requirements:

  • Be a permanent resident or a convention refugee
  • Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) or IELTS of 4+
