The Canadian Cultural Mosaic Foundation has been hosting a cultural competency fair for Alberta Culture Days. Every week, they host a workshop with guest speakers to learn about different cultures. Some upcoming workshops are held on September 19 and September 20. On September 19, Guest lecturer Souad Farag will talk about the history of the headscarf and what the Hijab means for Muslim women, and more. On September 20, Guest lecturer Garret Smith will talk about treaties the Crown has signed with Indigenous peoples since the 18th century.
