New Wellness Desk at Central Calgary Public Library

Michelle Mak Community, Daily Life, Fun Facts, Newcomer Information

The Calgary Public Library has always provided more than just short term book rentals. The resources and information available for the public’s use is beyond that. A new feature of their free mental health and addictions support is the wellness desk. The library’s new wellness desk will provide free, drop-in mental health care. The desk is located at Central Library in room 3-19A until December 31. Here, you will be able to meet with a mental health professional and get immediate care for emotional or mental health challenges.

This free service is available afternoons and evenings, on a drop-in basis.

This free service is done so in partnership with Wood’s Homes and is generously supported by the City of Calgary, RBC Foundation and donors of the Calgary Public Library Foundation.
