New Changes for federally regulated workers medical leave

The Government of Canada has announced new changes to ensure federally-regulated workers have access to medical leave without a medical certificate for absences of more than 3 days.

On September 25, 2021, medical certificate requirements will be reinstated.

Currently, as an employee working in a federally regulated workplace, you may be entitled to 2 unpaid leaves related to COVID-19:
