Alberta is launching two new immigration streams for international graduates:
- Starting October 26, the new International Graduate Entrepreneur Immigration Stream is open for application for recent international graduates from Alberta’s universities and colleges.
- In January 2021, the Foreign Graduate Start-up Visa Stream will open for talented international graduates from top U.S. universities and colleges.
These two new immigration streams will attract international entrepreneurs and skilled professionals who will
- fill talent gaps in high-demand industries and tech start-ups
- start new businesses
- create jobs in Alberta
- boost our economic recovery
