Banff’s Mount Norquay is welcoming skiers already starting October 24! The Oct. 24 kickoff to the season is the earliest in the ski hill’s 95-year history. Mount Norquay will be open seven-days-a-week and all visitors will be required to pre-purchase lift tickets. But, reducing the spread of COVID-19 is still a priority. Once you arrive to the ski area, there will be a greeting station with health checks, health check signage, and information for guests with physical distancing markers and hand sanitization stations. They will also be keeping records on visitation in case it is required by the AHS for contact tracing purposes only.
- As always, if you are in any indoor facilities, a face covering/mask will be required.
- Mount Norquay has extended this rule to the ski lifts as well, as you are unable to maintain a 2 meter social distance.
- Face coverings are mandatory on all Norquay shuttle buses
- Face coverings are mandatory in the rental shop
