City of Calgary’s Two-Year shared e-Scooter and e-Bike pilot that started in October 2018, concluded on Oct. 31, 2020. All the remaining shared e-scooters will be removed from Calgary on Nov. 1, 2020.

Since the launch of the pilot, there has been three permitted private sector operators (Lime, Bird, and Roll) and 1.87 million shared mobility trips.

On Dec. 16, the City of Calgary will be bringing a report to the Standing Policy Committee on Transportation & Transit to guide decisions on the future of e-Scooters. This will be based off of the survey feedback that Calgarians provided on the pilot from Sept. 16 to Oct. 7, 2020.
