Service Canada has been equipping certain locations of their Service Canada Centres with Video Remote Interpretation (VRI) services for clients who use sign language.

You can check out Service Canada’s website to see if your local Service Canada Centre offers VRI: http://www.servicecanada.gc.ca/tbsc-fsco/sc-hme.jsp

Please note that currently, Service Canada Centres are gradually re-opening some locations for services such as Employment Insurance, Canada Pension Plan and Old Age Security, Social Insurance Numbers and Passports for critical travel. Due to physical distancing, the space is limited. If you would still like to request for an appointment by filling out the service request form . A Service Canada officer will call you back within 2 business days. Ensure that you will follow all physical distancing measures and have face covering. Access to computers, telephones, and photocopiers are not available at this time.
