K-12 Students Return to In-Class Learning

Schools play an important part in students’ emotional health and overall well-being.

Thanks to the provincewide public health measures and restrictions put in effect last December, new COVID-19 case numbers in schools plateaued and then decreased throughout the winter break.

In light of this evidence, the Alberta government announced on January 7 that

All K-12 (Kindergarten to Grade 12) students will return to in-person learning as planned on January 11, 2021.
