Canada has recently approved the Janssen COVID-19 Vaccine, bring the total number of COVID-19 vaccines deemed safe by Canada’s health experts to four.
The current four authorized COVID-19 vaccines in Canada are:
- Moderna COVID-19 vaccine
- Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine
- AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine
- Janssen COVID-19 vaccine
As of March 8, in Canada, 1,380,063 people (3.63% of the population) have received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine. We still have a long way to go.
