New Canadian Canoe Program (May & June 2021)

We have a free outdoor program offering you and your families an opportunity to learn how to canoe!
This program is open for all to join, regardless of their status in Canada.

The free 6-week New Canadian Canoe Program runs from May 18 to June 24 and will teach participants how to

  • safely enter and exit the canoe
  • select safety equipment
  • have fun paddling their canoe safely.

Each canoe can accommodate 2-3 people, 2 adults and 1 child. Kids 5-12 yrs old can join their parents in the canoe. Ages 12 and up can paddle their own canoe (2 per boat).

There are 4 time slots to choose from and they are all on Tuesdays:

  • 12-12:45pm
  • 1-1:45pm
  • 6-6:45pm
  • 7-7:45pm
