This weekend will be the second Easter we celebrate since the COVID-19 pandemic started.

We all want to spend fun time with our families and friends during the long weekend but remember that we have to do so safely and responsibly.

All indoor social gatherings remain prohibited. Public health guidelines should be observed. Easter egg hunts or related activities should take place outdoors, with no more than 10 participants.

Close contacts are limited to household members only. People who live alone can have up to 2 close contacts:

  • The 2 close contacts must be the same two contacts throughout the duration of the restriction.
  • If the close contacts do not live alone, visits cannot be held at their home.
  • Single parents, who only live with their children under 18 are permitted to have up to 2 close contacts.
