Ages 40+ Can Now Book for COVID-19 Vaccination

The government of Alberta has planned out the provincial vaccination program and stages.

Starting April 20, everyone 40+ and many Albertans 16+ with health conditions can now book for COVID-19 vaccines. Walk-ins are open for AstraZeneca.

Same-day, walk-in service available at:
  • More than 70 pharmacies in Edmonton and Calgary
  • Walk-in clinics at the Expo Centre in Edmonton and at the Telus Convention Centre in Calgary (open to all Albertans if you don’t mind the drive)
Make an appointment (provincewide):
  • Contact a participating pharmacy near you
  • Book with AHS online or call 811
AstraZeneca is a safe vaccine that is proven to be highly effective in preventing serious illness and death. The risk of adverse effects, like blood clots, are extremely rare. The vaccine helps prevent the much higher risks that come from COVID-19 infection and helps protect those around you.
