The National AccessAbility Week is this week: May 30 to June 5, 2021.
This year’s theme is “Disability Inclusion 2021: Leaving No One Behind” and we will be celebrating.
- the valuable contributions of Canadians with disabilities made to our country
- the accomplishments of individuals, communities and workplaces to remove barriers to accessibility and inclusion, and
- the ongoing work to counter discrimination against persons with disabilities and promote a culture of inclusion.
When barriers are removed, Canadians with disabilities are able to participate fully in society and workplaces.
On June 3 at 12:45pm EDT, the Government of Canada will be hosting a live virtual Town Hall discussion. Youth with disabilities across Canada are invited to participate:
