The Alberta Anti-Racism Advisory Council (AARAC) is accepting applications from individuals interested in serving as members.
As a member of the council, you will help advise the government on strategies to
- combat racism
- remove systemic barriers to accessing government programs and services
Members will receive remuneration. To be a successful applicant, you will need to be equipped with certain skills, experience, and specialized knowledge.
The council is based in Edmonton. Meetings are currently conducted virtually. In-person meetings may occur in Edmonton or various places across the province. Travel may be required.
