Alberta Government Designated September 1 as Alberta Day

Lisa C. Community, Settlement & Community News, Updates

Alberta became a province on September 1, 1905. In recognition of this anniversary and in celebration of our province’s unique spirit, culture and heritage, we have designated September 1 as Alberta Day.

Alberta Day is a celebration of everything Alberta, from the past to the present. If you can’t get out to an event, celebrate your own way!

More information coming soon to the provincial government’s official website: https://www.alberta.ca/alberta-day.aspx
